Research at Anuva is oriented towards discovery that is focused on keeping people as healthy as possible, as well as identifying new and better treatments for people with disease. While our scientific work is focused on the Asian populations, it will have a global impact.
Our research reflects the different areas necessary to advance understanding and treatments. This requires us to first understand the biology and genomic architecture of the populations we are studying. With this foundation, the next step is to characterize the diseases that they are differentially prone to and how these impact them.
By identifying the genetic differences between healthy individuals and those with disease within a population, we can also compare and contrast with other populations to locate unique gene sites that open up the opportunity for novel drugs to be developed out of.
To carry this out requires a dedicated team of scientists working together in our custom lab and analytical centres across specialties that include molecular biology, population genetics, bioinformatics, clinical genetics/medicine and genomics.
We collaborate with pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as industry leaders, hospitals and academia to leverage their expertise in accelerated discovery and plug into the larger medical and genomics research community.
As we progress in our mission at Anuva, we also showcase our work and collaborative research findings at International Genetic Conferences with the aim to expand research and diversity in the field of genomics.
